Why You Need To Take Care of Your Health

Tips to Keep Your Health in Top Shape

You may be thinking, “I’m young and healthy so I don’t need to worry about my health.” This is not true. You should take care of your body just as you would any other machine, even if it’s a Ferrari or Lamborghini. They require maintenance for optimum performance. Your body does too! Dey Health has some useful advice for you!

The human brain uses about twenty-five percent of the total oxygen supply in our blood and consumes about sixty to seventy percent of all the sugar available from the food we consume each day (upwards of two thousand calories). Not only that, but most people are aware they need water every day; which is why there are many commercial drinks marketed specifically towards this part of their diet—even though drinking fluids has nothing to do with the actual thirst response. The mental energy required by those who have busy minds on top of managing complicated lives can be downright overwhelming. There are many shortcuts to alleviate the daily stress without affecting our lives too much:

Eat less often, but healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, eat more protein, increase your water intake (possibly by adding lemon or lime), and most importantly, do not eat processed foods.

Processed foods are full of preservatives and have a high sugar content; both of which can be harmful to your health over time.

You’re probably familiar with the phrase: “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” It doesn’t get much more literal than that! Apples contain antioxidants, fiber, minerals, and enzymes that help our bodies work better in general. Eating an apple is like giving your body all it needs for optimal performance without any additional effort on your part! That’s pretty awesome if you ask me—especially when I’m tired or don’t feel well after eating something bad (it happens).

Exercise at least 30 minutes per day. It’s a great way to relieve stress and increase your heart rate. Exercise isn’t just about looking good in jeans either. It’s also been shown that exercise helps with weight management as well as mood regulation. And we all know how much better it feels when we’re in a good mood.

Take care of your mental health by practicing mindfulness, attending yoga or meditation classes, and getting enough sleep at night (at least eight hours).

Get adequate sleep for your age group (that is, children need 12 hours a night while adults should have between seven and nine hours of nightly slumber). You will feel better if you take care of yourself!
